Alan Keyes against the Flight 93 memorial

Blogburst logo, petitionAlan Keyes, logo-size

Conservative hero Alan Keyes is asking whether there is a pattern of submission surrounding the nation's 9/11 sites. Apparently he has seen our video expose of Islamic and terrorist memorializing features in the crescent memorial to Flight 93 (now called a broken circle). Like any straight-thinker, he doesn't like what he sees. The Flight 93 crash site is no place for a giant Islamic-shaped crescent, no matter what it is called.

On this point, Keyes cites Colorado Representative Tom Tancredo's 2005 objection to the newly unveiled Crescent of Embrace design:
Back in 2005, then-Rep. Tom Tancredo was reported to have sent a letter to the National Park Service "asking the Interior Department to reconsider the crescent-shaped design of the memorial to those aboard a plane hijacked on Sept. 11, 2001, because some may think it honors the terrorists." Tancredo quite sensibly argues that "regardless of whether 'the invocation of a Muslim Symbol' was intentional, 'it seems that such a symbol is unsuitable for paying appropriate tribute to the heroes of Flight 93 or the ensuing American struggle against radical Islam.'"
Keyes notes our claim that the design is still replete with terrorist memorializing features and he seems to find it credible. Why shouldn't he? The damning features are all right there in architect Paul Murdoch's design drawings. Thank you Doctor Keyes!

"It’s not just embarrassing. It is a dangerous willful blindness, spurning the woken vigilance of Flight 93."

That's the last line of the full-page advertisement that Tom Burnett Senior and Alec Rawls will be running in the Somerset Daily American this Friday and Saturday (when the two first ladies will be in town for the 9/11 anniversary):

We are hoping that visitors will hold onto our ad, maybe even tape it to their car windows, and most especially, show it to any press people they come across. Hey, if the Park Service can use 9/11 to plant the world's largest mosque on the Flight 93 crash site, we can use 9/11 to object.

Comments:
How dare you call yourself a "patriot". You are a hateful, deluded piece of scum making a penny off the back of someone else's tragedy. I am literally ashamed that you are an American.

Alec, check your e-mail. Updates to Murdoch evolution.

I'm really curious about where redneck liberal gets the idea that this blog is making even a single penny with this blog.

I've been a long time follower and absolutely sure that profit is not a motivating factor for this blogger. Redneck liberal sure does get shamed for nothing.

As for it being someone else's tragedy - stuff it bud. Those nineteen hijackers were just as eager to take the lives of 30k, 300k or 3million victims. Count yourself lucky to feel so easily ashamed and to be in the company of folks who are unwilling to turn a blind eye and permit this to happen again. May I suggest you take the time to read the books holy to Islam. Really read them. Consider the history of global jihad. Bring yourself up to date by reviewing the 16,046 deadly terror attacks committed since 9/11. Then get back to us.

Project manger Davis Langdon swallowed in takeover
The deal will give AECOM an expanded presence in Australia and the Asian region and will boost its global staff to about 47,000 people.

Davis Langdon's counterpart in Asia, Davis Langdon & Seah, will remain independent, but will continue to work with AECOM's Davis Langdon operations under an existing collaboration agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement, Davis Langdon - whose local operations are headquartered in Melbourne but with offices in all other States - is expected to receive up to 80 per cent of the takeover fee in cash and 20 per cent in AECOM common stock.

The transaction is expected to close in October this year.

Thanks anonymous. Davis Langdon is a Murdoch partner who uses a crescent and star in his logo and does a lot of work in Muslim countries.

Shari Hodges says Davis Langdon is not just a Murdoch partner, but actually bought his firm:

Off topic but fairly important:

Your blogroll is currently being hosted via BlogRolling. I used BlogRolling for several years and it served me fairly well. Recently, however, some blog visitors have been encountering malware alerts when viewing a blog post or website that contains a blogroll hosted via BlogRolling.

There is no actual malware; the warning is bogus. However, it does scare visitors away from affected blog posts and websites using BlogRolling.

BlogRolling does not currently plan to fix the bug. Instead, they have announced that they will most likely shut down their service soon.

You may wish to copy your blogroll links out of BlogRolling soon, and put them elsewhere for safekeeping.

What happened to BlogRolling?

Thanks 1389. I will be making some kind of switch. Will keep the blogroll off of future blogbursts posts until this is accomplished so that participants blogs don't get flagged for malware. Too bad the flaggers don't exercise due diligence and check whether there really is malware, instead of just some theoretical vulnerability that may or may not be real.
